Skelton & Conway is the collaborative practice of Tango Conway and Amelia Skelton. The pair completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the National Art School, where they executed their first collaborative project, 88 Howard Street in 2016. Since their debut project they have presented multiple works ranging across performance, installation and large scale sculpture. Notably, they won the Sculpture by the Sea Award for their debut installation at The NAS Graduate Exhibition. The pair were then awarded the Clitheroe Foundation Emerging Artists Grant to complete their first large scale public work exhibited in Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, 2017. Conway and Skelton are interested in everyday objects and how they can personify space, utilizing satire as a means to convey meaning and narrative.
